Terms of Use, Privacy & Cookies
Use of PartLoops, anonymous commercial analytics, privacy and browser storage, third-party content and limits of liability.
1. About PartLoops
PartLoops (the “Website”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an independent industrial product and brand directory. Information is offered for general reference, not as engineering, safety, purchasing, legal or other professional advice. Contact us at info@partloops.com.
Use the Website only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. Continued use following a properly notified change may constitute acceptance where applicable law permits. Merely browsing is not treated as consent to optional tracking, marketing or a new use of personal information. Mandatory statutory rights prevail.
2. Public Sources and Information Accuracy
Public manufacturer materials may be collected, extracted, classified, summarized or translated with automated tools, including AI assistance. We do not test every product or continuously monitor every source. Errors, omissions, misclassification, translation differences, stale entries and broken links can occur; internal review is not certification.
We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from third-party rights claims. Verify critical details against the relevant manufacturer’s latest official documents before relying on the Website. Illustrations, examples and historical materials do not establish specifications or current availability.
3. Manufacturer and Other Third-Party Information
Information published by manufacturers and other third parties may itself contain inaccuracies, omissions, or subsequent changes. We do not control those sources and do not independently test or certify every product or statement they contain.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, referencing, summarizing or linking third-party materials does not make us their author, manufacturer, seller, agent, guarantor or certifier. Responsibility for your use of information remains subject to the limitations below and any duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Technical Use and Independent Verification
Product classifications, brand relationships, specifications, manufacturer details, and links on the Website are not engineering, safety, procurement, or professional advice. Listing two brands under the same category does not establish that their products are equivalent, interchangeable, approved for a specific application, or manufactured by the same company.
Before making design, purchasing, installation, safety-critical, or substitution decisions, users should independently confirm current dimensions, ratings, standards, operating conditions, compatibility, and availability with the relevant manufacturer or a qualified professional.
5. Trademarks, Copyright, and Independence
Company names, brand names, trademarks, logos, product names, and third-party images referenced on the Website belong to their respective owners. Such references are provided for identification, comparison, navigation, and informational purposes. Unless expressly and verifiably stated, inclusion does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, agency, or authorization by a manufacturer or rights holder.
Third-party intellectual property remains with its owners. Unless expressly permitted by a rights holder or applicable law, these Terms grant no right to reproduce manufacturer images, logos, catalogues or other third-party materials. Our original text, software, selection, arrangement and compilation are protected to the extent applicable law recognizes those rights.
6. External Websites and Documents
The Website may link to third-party websites, product catalogs, downloadable files, and other external resources. These resources are operated independently and may be changed, restricted, moved, or removed without notice. We do not control their content, privacy practices, availability, or terms of use. Links are provided for convenience and reference, not as guarantees or endorsements.
7. Rights Holder Notices, Corrections, and Complaints
If you are a manufacturer, brand owner, copyright owner, other rights holder, or authorized representative and believe that information or content on PartLoops is inaccurate, misattributed, unauthorized, or infringes your rights, please contact info@partloops.com.
Identify the relevant URL, explain your concern and authority to raise it, and provide supporting material and contact details. We may request further information before acting. We aim to review sufficiently detailed reports within a reasonable time; no fixed response or resolution deadline is promised except where law requires one.
We will review sufficiently detailed reports in good faith and, where appropriate, correct information, update attribution, remove or disable access to content, or request further documentation. Where applicable law requires a faster or different procedure, those legal requirements take precedence.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, CONTENT AND FREE DIRECTORY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You are responsible for independently verifying technical and commercial decisions and maintaining appropriate safeguards.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or data, and interruption or loss arising from reliance on content, translations, external resources or service availability. No exclusion applies to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or privacy, consumer and other liabilities where exclusion is prohibited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only as far as the law permits.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue features and revise these Terms. Changes are prospective unless law permits otherwise. The dated English page is the official version; other-language legal routes lead to it. Material changes to personal-information processing require appropriate notice and any further consent or other lawful basis before implementation. Changes to Terms alone do not authorize new tracking or an undisclosed data use.
10. Contact
Questions, corrections, rights-holder notices and privacy requests may be sent to info@partloops.com. We may request proportionate identity or authority verification before acting. Nothing here limits any right to contact a competent regulator or court.
11. Privacy: Information Handled
Cloudflare Web Analytics supplies aggregate usage and performance reports, including visits, page views, popular pages, referring sites, country-level distribution and load performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies, browser storage or fingerprinting to track individual visitors. Provider information: https://developers.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/faq/ and https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ . This does not mean all hosting, network or security services process no technical data.
When you email us, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to provide. We use them to respond, investigate corrections or rights requests, maintain necessary correspondence and protect the service. Please do not send passwords, sensitive personal information or material you are not authorized to disclose.
Our hosting, email, delivery and security providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, user-agent information and security events, to deliver the Website and email, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. Processing by those providers is also described in their applicable privacy notices.
12. Anonymous Aggregates and Commercial Development
We may use and create genuinely anonymous, aggregated statistics for operating and improving PartLoops, understanding demand, planning products, business analysis and commercial reports or services. Where law permits, such non-identifying aggregates may be published, licensed or shared with commercial partners. We will not attempt to identify individuals from those aggregates.
Anonymous means individuals cannot reasonably be identified or re-identified, including by combining reasonably available information. Removing a name, hashing an identifier or using a pseudonym does not by itself make information anonymous. These Terms do not authorize selling identifiable contact details, private correspondence or personal profiles. Any new personal-data purpose, recipient or transfer requiring notice, consent or safeguards will be addressed before it occurs.
13. Cookies, Browser Storage and Choices
The Website currently uses browser localStorage to cache the publicly displayed aggregate visit and page-view totals and their update time. This improves display reliability; the cache contains no visitor identifier and is not used to follow an individual across sites. You can clear or block it through browser settings; public statistics may then load more slowly or be unavailable while offline.
Cloudflare or other infrastructure providers may use necessary security mechanisms, including security cookies where deployed, to deliver the service or defend against abuse. External sites you choose to visit apply their own storage and privacy practices. We do not claim that the entire Internet path is cookie-free or accept responsibility for independently operated third-party sites merely because we link to them, subject to duties imposed by law.
Optional advertising cookies, behavioural profiling and additional tracking are not enabled by these Terms. If introduced, we will give the required information and provide the legally required consent or opt-out controls before activation. Browsing or closing a notice is not a substitute for consent where consent is required. Browser blocking may affect functionality but does not waive statutory privacy rights.
14. Personal Information: Purposes, Sharing and Rights
Personal information is handled only on an applicable lawful basis, such as a request or contract, legal duties, consent, or another basis allowed in the relevant jurisdiction. It may be shared with service providers under appropriate restrictions, when legally required, or to protect legitimate rights. We do not treat anonymous analytics permission as consent to targeted marketing or sale of personal information.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes and applicable legal, security or claims obligations, then delete or anonymize it where appropriate. Technical safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. This limitation is not a waiver of our legal security or breach-notification duties.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent by emailing info@partloops.com, and may complain to the competent regulator. Requests are assessed under applicable law, including lawful exceptions and retention duties. Providers may process data internationally; any transfer requiring additional notice, consent or safeguards must meet those requirements.
15. Commercial Services and Permitted Use
We may develop paid features, advertising, clearly identified sponsored placements, licensing or other commercial partnerships. No future feature or free access is guaranteed. Prices, subscriptions, purchases or additional personal-information processing require the relevant information and any separate agreement or consent before they apply; merely reading this page does not create a payment obligation.
You may access the public directory for lawful personal or internal business reference. Except as allowed by law or written permission, do not commercially repackage or resell our original compiled content, mirror the database, bypass access controls, overload the service or impersonate PartLoops. Ordinary search-engine indexing remains subject to applicable law and published technical controls. No third-party image or trademark licence is granted.
If you voluntarily submit non-confidential suggestions or corrections that you are entitled to share, you permit us to use that feedback to operate, correct, improve and commercially develop the Website without an obligation to pay for the suggestion. This limited permission does not transfer your personal information, confidential material or third-party intellectual property, and does not override applicable privacy law.
16. Mandatory Rights and Severability
These Terms operate only to the extent permitted by applicable law. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is limited or severed only to the necessary extent and the remaining provisions continue where lawful. Nothing limits mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights or the forum protections provided by applicable law. Any dispute is subject to the law and jurisdiction determined under applicable legal rules.
